|
|
Hi, all
My Asterisk uses a Digium TE120Pand I would like to add an Astribank
zaptel_hardware sees is, but I cannot get it working
pbx:~# zaptel_hardware
Argument "IRQ" isn't numeric in numeric comparison (<=>) at
/usr/local/share/perl/5.8.8/Zaptel/Span.pm line 114.
usb:005/002 xpp_usb- e4e4:1131 Astribank-8/16 USB-firmware
pci:0000:04:00.0 wcte12xp+ d161:0120 Wildcard TE12xP
In the Astribank line (module part) there is a "-" sign after the
module name (while the TE120P has a "+" sign).
Does that mean anything?
genzaptelcong doesn't generate any config for the Astribank.
Can anyone send a copy of their working Astribank settings?
I am concerned about the span used by the Astribank. I just cannot
find anything that gives me a clue...
Thanks in advance.
Regards,

I just upgraded zaptel to 1.4.9.2 (and rebuild everything, of course)
but no improvements.
zaptel_hardware's output is the same and genzaptelconf
I forgot to mention that zapconf fails too...
pbx:~# zapconf
Argument "IRQ" isn't numeric in numeric comparison (<=>) at
/usr/local/share/perl/5.8.8/Zaptel/Span.pm line 114.
Failed probing type for channel IRQ at /usr/sbin/zapconf line 230.
Cheers,
Andres

What version of Zaptel is this?

A known issue. Should be fixed on next version. This should also cause
some problems to zapconf. Until then, use genzaptelconf.

http://zaptel.tzafrir.org.il/README.Astribank.html#_troubleshhoting
"If lsusb shows the Product ID as 11x1 - only the USB firmware is loaded
and not the FPGA firmware is loaded. If this is still the case after a
while - either the firmware loading has failed or you don't have
fpga_load. Make sure you have libusb-dev(el) installed when building
Zaptel."
Do you have fpga_load built? If not: maybe libusv-dev[el] was not installed
when you configured Zaptel? If this is zaptel 1.2: you need to
explicitly run 'make -C xpp/utils install'
(that file is an HTML-zed version of the file README.Astribank from
latest SVN version of Zaptel)

Quoting the man page of zaptel_hardware:
The second field shows which driver should handle the device. a "-"
sign marks that the device is not yet handled by this driver. A "+"
sign means that the device is handled by the driver.

Right. The firmware wasn't even loaded. When it will be, genzaptelconf
and co. will do their job.

http://zaptel.tzafrir.org.il/README.Astribank.html#_sample_configurations
But then again, it will not really be necessary.
