Hello

What does mod_esf and mod_fsv do?

mod_esf just says "Extra SIP Functionality" in the wiki. mod_fsv is not documented at all.

Regards,
Jonas

Right now mod_esf holds the multi cast paging application for SIP.

And FSV is for recording and playback of video.

I would presume esf refers to the T1 framing known as Extended Super Frame. This was developed to allow more maint and operating information to be passed between equipment elements.

Dennis Hock. Nothing at all to do with SIP perse.

good guess but it actually stands for "Extra SIP Features" so it's where we put nonstandard sip extension like multicast paging .
