|
|
Hello list,
Any body knows how to indicates a ringgroup menber (extension), that
one phone of his ringgroup is ringing?
For example, in callgroup 1 there are 4 extension (10,11,12,14).
If a call comes to extension 10, how could I anounce this call to the
other extensions?
The only extension which should ring would be the extension 10, an the
other extension in the callgroup, must not ring, but have to know the
extension 10 is ringing.
I have thought about printing something in the screen of the rest of
the phones, a blinking light, or something like that.
The phones I am using are Linksys 942.
Any Clue will be welcomed.
Thanks,

Linksys SPA-942s do not support BLF at this time, which is what you
would need in order to monitor other extensions. The sidecar with the
Linksys SPA-962 does, but that's not a great deal of help.
Linksys have mentioned to me in the past that they plan to make the four
line buttons capable of being used for BLF indication, however this has
not yet been released (not as of version 5.2.8 of their firmware anyway)
