Hi all,

I would like to http post some dynamic data to a website in javascript,
ideally over ssl.

I found the Wiki on the Javascript CURL functions:
* fetchURL
* fetchURLHash
* fetchURLFile
however that doesn't seem to do the trick.

Is there another way?

Thanks, Birgit

I think you just need an https in the url. does that not work.

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for your reply.

No, it just does a HTTP GET of the URL.
With a HTTP POST the parameters shouldn't go as URL parameters, but
should be posted after the connection is opened.

With the functions fetchURL() or fetchURLHash(), there is no separate
argument for the POST parameters, nor a way to explicitly set the method
to POST (instead of GET).

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks, Birgit

method is the 1st arg to obj->run()
you can put the word "post" there.
