There is work ongoing to get this merged in. I have a few concerns that this code is still quite new so the timing and stability of a merge is still in question, but I would expect it to happen probably before the release of the next firefox once we are able to confirm stability and integrate properly.

Is there a need for the extra performance of TraceMonkey vs
SpiderMonkey? I'm not questioning the desire to migrate to what will
become 'current' code but whether people are hitting ceilings with
SpiderMonkey's performance.
I see it within the browser, but IVR is a different ball game.

I wouldn't say work is being done just yet. It's not stable just
yet. Its on the roadmap.

Currently the garbage collector between all sessions is the bottle
neck. The engine was designed to run in a browser with 10-20 pages
open at once. Not 1000 phone calls.
And yes people hage hit the limits of Spidermonkey, That is why we
are always on the look out for improvements.
