Ah, 5 is max? Kinda like gcc not supporting anything greater than -O3? Good to know that. I figured -vvvvvvvv was overkill, but I hadn't dived into the options parsing code to actually verify that.

The option parsing code will happily add it. It is just that extra
levels have no real effect.

I'm running Mandriva and found the line that had -vvv. I like mine at
15, so just put 15 v's on that line. Worked great.
